Event: Bike Dirty for a good cause.
If you're in Boston this Sunday evening stop by the Middlesex Lounge for Openly Biking Dirty 2009! The event is in support of The Jimmy Fund and the Pan Mass Challenge. our friend Chandler, is riding the PMC for the third year in a row. Over the past few years, Chandler and his team are excellent folks, friends of ours and definitely in need of your support to make this year's ride even better than last!Sunday night will consist of socializing, dancing and roller-racing – a little bit of something for everyone, bike or no bike! If you are not familiar with roller-racing, its pretty simple: head-to-head stationary bike races, 300m in distance, the speed and time are projected for the crowd to see – a great spectator sport and a good way to settle disputes with friends. The 300m seems to be the right distance for everyone, whether you race weekly or have ridden to work once in the past few years. Our good friends over at OPEN Bicycle will be providing bicycles to race with so just bring your game face and checkbook!

Event: Disco-nnection...because Disco is a Dirty Word!!!
Get this...Tomorrow it's a new day for all you Disco fans here in Boston. But let me be clear - John Travolta is not invited! so don't expect white suits or the freaking Beegees on the guest list. This Tuesday, Feb 24th Brenden Wesley & DJ Supreme One (You may know him as Serge) bring us a NEW DISCO Night @ Middlesex Lounge! Yep. FINALLY!!! I have been wanting see a quality disco night and Well, the stars have apparently aligned in the appropriate manner. Disco-nnection will be the first in a series of monthly parties with Rocking/rare cuts mixed properly as only two true disco heads know how. Expect only true Underground Disco with a side dish of Funk and Boogie.
Come on Boston, I know there are some Real Disco/House Heads that know how important this night is for the scene. It's not all about Electro, Hip-Hop and minimal techno is it? We get deeper than that don't we? Let's make New York proud...
...and like we promised you on the Weekly Dig, don't forget to Download the Special Disco Mix courtesy of Brenden Wesley. It's Disco Education 101.

Event/Lazy Sunday: Open Cycle rules!!!
Yo...What a great night we had at Middlesex with Boston's Cycling community. The Event turned out to be a massive party and a celebration to what's coming out next from the "open crew". DJ's Frank White & our Friend Brek. One brought the jams while Zack and the Crew brought the free Hats and Bags. Creep Street was in the House and some of the Tannery Fam also came by. Familiar Faces and many new ones...but I'm pretty sure we can handle that- as long as i got a 24oz. Red Stripe on my right hand (and if you didn't notice i tried to make this rhyme but i can suck at it and now i must part.) Anyways, If you are curious about how it all went down, go their website and check out the Mayhem! (and no, we are not talking about that DJ, or that Other DJ from back in the day). Yo guys...can we get a T-shirt too!!! (XL Black aight!!!)ps: Where do DJ's come out with their names? They should always check out Discogs.com first (Jesus!!!)
