Ladies and gentlemen, here is one of best albums that those bums at Pitchfork forgot to include in the top 50 for 2007. Frenchman Joakim is perhaps the best thing out of France that is not Daft Punk. While still electronic music, his sound is perhaps more similar to the Krautrock and Disco beats that DFA has been pitching since 2001. If you're sick of Justice, and you loved Sound of Silver, then you are probably gonna love "Monsters and Silly Songs". Listen to "I wish you were gone" and you'll know what I'm talking about.
