Music: Italians do it Better but Bottin does it the Best...

For a label that claims that Italians do it Better, it was time they actually had an Italian on the Roster. DJ and Producer William Bottin hails from Venice a city that well...overflows with water a lot. In any case Bottin is joining the ranks of Chromatics and Glass Candy on the Italo Label du Jour. If you are into the whole Balearic/Cosmic Disco scene, you probably recognize his name from his recent appearance on the Cosmic Balearic Beats Vol. 1 compilation out now on Eskimo. The 3 part Vinyl sits nicely on my shelf thanks to Newbury comics (although I think they've still got some copies left) and Bottin's "Fondamente Nove" is one of the best tracks I've heard recently...simple bass and a fantastic progression. I guess Italians really do it better. In any case, in anticipation for "No Static" to be released on IDIB, here's a taste of the song and a mix brilliantly selected by Bottin himself. Enjoy...I'm off to make some Pasta alle Vongole.
