Video: Football for Good...Steve Nash for President.

The Football for Good campaign is a partnership between the Steve Nash Foundation and Athletes for Africa to help develop good, ethical world-class youth football academies around Africa as well as “champion of human rights and child protection, and a committed global advocate for African players, families and their communities.” A $5 USD donation earns you a chance to fly to New York and participate in the “Chinatown Showdown” which features world-class football players and basketball players alike in a friendly game. Go to http://www.football-for-good.com for more info, and check out the video where he taunts some of today's Greatest Football Stars...Hilarious! First time i watched the video I though it was yet one of those smart Nike Ads...which of course didn't make sense once you see Del Piero (adidas) and The Guys from the Milan Squad (also sponsored by Adidas). I'm glad no black tape was involved in this video...it is for the children after all. Nice Job Steve Nash! We believe in your dream.

Video: Le foot c'est un sport sérieux...no seriously!

I was doing my daily ritual of reading blogs and sports news when I came across something that if you like football (not American but the one the rest of the world goes ape shit about), it's gonna make you laugh so hard you might wanna grab a diaper. Seriously, Monsieur Remi Gallard has some great skills and obviously the humor that most French footballers lack. Enjoy it and ease the pain of watching that recent Euro2008 Final...no offense to Spain, no offense Germany, but Turkey should have been the Champion...and Y'all know it!

ps: if you can't wait for the Olympics to start, check this one too...and this.
ps#2: I've got those same sneakers too...how come it doesn't work with me...Nike, any thoughts?

Ad: Lock, Stock, and two smoking footballs?

Dear Mr. Guy Ritchie,
For some reason you've been having bad luck at the movies recently. We know everyone keeps blaming your lovely wife but we are fans of her as well, and cannot tolerate the nerve these movie critics have at hinting she sucks the creativity out of you. Although I have yet to watch Revolver, we did stumble upon the commercial you did recently for Nike football, and in our humble opinion it was damn fine. We are hopeful however, that doing commercials won't become a full-time job. We miss your movies and really...Swept Away wasn't all that bad. We have a copy on DVD. Good Luck in your upcoming projects. We can't wait to see them soon.

Best Regards,
