If you've read this blog enough, you know we are crazy about In Flagranti. From spaced-out tunes to tweaked-out edits, the Brooklyn Euro-Duo has been pumping out more material than a stand up comic...and we love it. Out now on Codek is their newest LP entitled "Brash & Vulgar" which is pretty much an amalgamation of evrything that's hot right now. There's Disco & Boogie for you Edit Lovers...there's House for y'all Trax revivalists. There's Italo and Cosmic for you geeks, and even Break Beats for the Robot Breakers. Shit...Even some Electro (for your neon-loving-shutter shade-ed banger lovin'-hipster)...no joke. A little rock for your skin-tight jeans friends, and a little post punk for the music snobs. Anyways, this much music probably sounds like someone's Bipolar (hehe) but truly, it's actually a real cohesive album. Let me explain...this album is like roaming around Brooklyn trying to find a party to go to...you end walking and texting people for hours... You keep getting to your "friend of a friend's" loft when the booze is gone and then you start all over again. At the end of the night (in the morning) after bitching and moaning about how you kept going from one party to the other, you realize you had a really good time, and that is always nice. That my friends is "Brash & Vulgar". So...Pick it out now from the usual spots...you know, like this one. And if you haven't got their 12" on RVNG of the Nrds, I would get it soon. Check out the crazy Edit of "I Was Made For Lovin' You" by Kiss. You know you want it.
